I went to Sydney, Australia with my husband. On the first day we went to C.K.S international airport flying to Sydney, Australia at 10:20 PM. Our flight needs ten hours so we reached there the next day morning. It was sunny and cool there. First we visited the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains. We walked in the forest and then went to the mountaintop by cable car. We saw the three sisters rock that was really majestic. The Blue Mountains scenery was spectacular.
On the third day we visited Toronga Zoo. Today was a great day. Guess what? We saw many koalas and kangaroos. Wow! They were so cute. I loved them. I couldn’tbelieve we could touch and take photo with them. After lunch we visited the Sydney Olympic Park and it was a good court. You could do some sports, ride a bicycle, picnic in the parkland, go to a concert or watch world-class sporting events there. In the afternoon, we visited a famous place -Sydney Italy area. They were full of great stores. We stayed in the café and then enjoyed tasty Cappuccino and ate some ice cream cone.
On the four days we visited the Bondi beach. The beach was full of white sand. You could feel that sand was very thin when you treaded on it. We just hung out at the beach. I saw many people swimming, surfing, playing beach volleyball, jogging and sunbathing and so on.. Afterwards, we visited the world-famous architecture - Sydney Opera House. It was a difficult engineering but it was really unusual. In the afternoon we went to The Rocks Market. We were very luck because it only opened on weekends. Today was just Sunday. There were many vendors like homewares, jewellery, delicious food, arts and etc. They were very interesting. We went window shopping and we didn’t buy anything. The Sydney Harbour Bridge just was on the Rocks Market top. I saw many people climbing the bridge. That was really cool. I would climb bridge if I had time. At night we went to Sydney Tower. It was a skyscraper. The Tower has 360-degree view so we could see the best view of Sydney there. It was kind of like Shin Kong Life Tower in Taipei.
On the five days we visited Hyde Park. We sat on the park bench and listened to the birds and insects singing. We rested and enjoyed ourselves this time. Then we visited St. Mary’s Cathedral. It was opposite to the park. We walked into the cathedral and some people knelt down to pray so we must be quiet! Afterwards we went to Darling Harbour. We took the cruise-ship and had lunch inside. The cruise-ship went along the shores. After lunch we walked outside for sightseeing and that was a different feeling. One hour later we disembarked. We went to Sydney Aquarium and saw the unique aquatic animals-duckbills, and huge sharks, rays, skate, lobsters and so on. They made me excited.
Today was my last day in Sydney so we went to the nearby stores to buy some presents for our family and friends. I think I like this country more and more. The people in Sydney were very friendly and easygoing. I want to stay here for several days if I have much time and money. On the six days we went to the Sydney airport by air and went home. My vacation was over.
